Brown the onions in oil.
Add the peas, sugar and water.
Cover and cook on a low heat for 20 minutes.
Combine the butter and flour and mix until you have a smooth dough.
Using your hands, roll the dough into balls and add them to the pan.
Add the ginger, peanuts, pecans, cashews and the salt.
Cook on a low heat for ten minutes to let the ingredients infuse.
