Dubai Chocolate

The famous Dubai Chocolate is surprisingly easy to make — a rich, elegant dessert that looks luxurious but requires just a few ingredients. The combination of dark chocolate and crispy kataifi pastry gives it a unique texture, while the dried cranberries add a subtle fruity touch that perfectly balances the sweetness. You can also customize it with your favorite toppings, such as chopped nuts, coconut flakes, or even sea salt, to make it your own.

Ingredients

Method

    1. Melt the dark chocolate with coconut oil until smooth.
    2. Pour half of the melted chocolate into a mold and freeze until set.
    3. Cut the bread into small pieces, gently separating any that stick together.
    4. Mix the Kataifi with a small amount of coconut oil, then bake at 170°C (fan oven) for 15 minutes, until golden and crisp. Let cool completely.
    5. In a bowl, combine the toasted Kataifi pieces with pistachio spread and dried cranberries. Mix until evenly coated.
    6. Spread this mixture over the set chocolate layer in the mold.
    7. Pour the remaining melted chocolate over the top and smooth the surface.
    8. Sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
    9. Freeze for 1 hour, until firm.
    10. Unmold, slice, and serve.

Tips

For the best presentation, add the toppings before the top chocolate layer fully sets — it helps them stick beautifully while keeping their crunch and color.
