  1. 1. To the jug attachment of a food processor, add in all of the ingredients.

    2. Next, pulse until starting to combine, then blend on full speed until smooth.

    3. Here, you may need to add more nut milk if the shake is looking a little thick.

    4. To serve, put some ice cubes into a high glass and pour over the shake.

    5. Enjoy immediately!

Tips

To minimise food waste store nuts/seeds out of direct light and heat and always in an airtight container.
Although not used to make a ‘chia egg’ in this recipe, chia seeds are a great thickener and when mixed with water, turn into a gel which can be used in place of an egg in baking. To make a ‘chia egg’, place 1 tbsp. of chia seeds in a small bowl, cover with 3 tbsp. of water, stir and set aside for 5 minutes to gel. This will thicken and set, turning into a nutritional plant-based egg replacement!
